The Shahadah

The Shahadah is the declaration of faith in Islam. It means "There is no God but The-God, and Muhammad is the messenger of The-God. Arabic: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الله، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ الله ALLAH is an arabic word that means The-God. So basically, to be a Muslim (one who submits to God), you need to believe that God is God . A lot of people say this or that  is God. Islam (Submitting to God) is the only religion where we say God is God. If you want to know why people  deliberately  say  this  or  that  is God instead of saying  God is God.  I'll answer you by simply saying:  God have haters . The Story behind this post : I opened an email from a non-Muslim thinker who has experienced a miracle in every religion (To him, every religion is convincing. So what's the true religion?) I replied... Interesting thoughts. As an Islamic thinker, I believe that every human being (religious or not) will experience mira...

Know the Kind of Life You Are Meant For

In the name of ALLAH and all praises belong to ALLAH

There are people in life who find satisfaction in soul and knowledge work—those who feel fulfilled in guiding others, teaching, and working toward salvation and eternal meaning.

And there are people who find satisfaction in business—building, trading, earning money, and then striving for more money as a measure of progress and success.

Then there are people who only feel truly satisfied when they build a family— those are people who their sense of purpose is tied to home, relationships, and legacy.

Know the kind that you are.

Even the Greatest Life Was Not One-Dimensional

The life of the Prophet ﷺ is a powerful reminder that human fulfillment is deeply personal.

Before Prophethood, he had a beautiful life with an industrious wife and amazing children yet He would often retreat to the cave of Hira.

He would retreat to the Cave of Hira for solitude, reflection, and contemplation. He knew something was missing but he couldn't figure out what it was until revelation started.

The Prophet ﷺ later became a Messenger and found his deepest sense of fulfillment in his mission and connection with Allah.

His life shows that material success, social status, or even family life alone does not always complete a person’s sense of purpose.

Sometimes fulfillment is found in a calling that is bigger than all of those things combined.

The Legacy of Knowledge and Devotion

Some people dedicate their entire lives to knowledge and scholarship, passing wisdom from generation to generation.

Others devote themselves to preserving and teaching that knowledge so it does not disappear with time.

And among the great transmitters of knowledge was our Mother, Aisha  (RA), who spent decades after the passing of the Prophet ﷺ teaching, narrating, and preserving sacred knowledge for the generations that followed.

Final Reflection

Not everyone is meant to be fulfilled in the same way.

Some are builders of families.
Some are builders of wealth.
Some are builders of knowledge and meaning.

The real question is not which path is better—but which path aligns with what your soul is designed for.

Know who you are.
